Ubitrack`s team had the absolute pleasure to showcase its technology at the Stadio Olympico in Turin during a Serie A match. Being able to present our capabilities in a Big5 league match was an honor and one of the most exciting professional moments to date for us.
The purpose of the case was to compare our optical tracking accuracy to established and FIFA certified GPS trackers. Although both technologies collect positions (tracking) data and calcualte physical parameters each has its limitations which can be compensated by the other one and are natural complementary services.
The results showed that the data from our optical tracking system achieved only 0.5% deviation from the GPS tracking data. A resounding success for our team.
